Fall 2022 Ice Contract

Tuesday September 6th-Sunday October 30th, 2022

Due Saturday August 20th

In order to meet your contractual agreement with the club, Full-Skating Home Club Members must contract a combination of ice sessions that is equal to or greater than 90 minutes per week. 

Anticipated skip day:  Saturday September 17 for Fall Exhibition

In light of lower than typical session numbers over the past few contracts, we are reserving the right to cancel a session if numbers are too low.  Skaters on a cancelled session will be asked to move to another session if they do not already have their 90-minute contracted obligation met and late fees will be waived for any contract changes that need to be made by those impacted.  We have established a contract deadline earlier than typical to allow for possible changes. We recognize that potential schedule changes can be stressful and frustrating, but the club must also be mindful of fiscal health and viability.  

Buy-ons will continue to be tracked in the binder on our cart at the rink and are available to any eligible USFS skater. Number of available buy-ons per session can be determined by looking up available slots under that session on the Fall Contract page once the contract has closed.  Please write legibly in the book to ease tracking and check-in with the ice monitor on duty.

Ice Monitoring:  Four sessions of monitoring required for the Fall Contract or payment of the buy-out fee which can be selected as an option in the contract.  Ice Monitoring Sign ups will be released at 9PM on Sunday August 21st.

Swaps:  We have relaxed the guidelines for swaps now allowing skaters to swap in anticipation of a missed session.  For example, if skater knows they will miss Saturday ice, they could swap to skate onto Wednesday ice prior to the missed session.  Swaps shall not exceed 4 total for this Fall contract and cannot be carried forward to the next contract.

Off Ice: Off Ice work helps enhance on ice performance!  We have a core/warm up class scheduled before our Fall Monday Ice.  Each class must have 4 or more contracted skaters or it will be subject to cancellation.   Priced at $8/class for contracted home club members, $10 to buy on.
